attention bringing golf good great higher money people younger
We're very good friends. A lot of people misjudge her. She's younger than everyone. But if she's bringing more attention to women's golf and more money with higher purses, that's great for me.
best golf handle love
I think I'll be able to handle it. I love pressure. I play my best golf when I have pressure. I love big galleries.
base golf golfers great home lucky obviously played
An American champion, obviously being here in the states, is something that we all look at with the U.S. Open. But golf is played all over the world, and there are so many great golfers from other countries, and we're lucky enough that this is our home base to be able to play out of.
business course deals golf male playing struck telling women work
Women in pro-ams are always telling me about all the business deals they've struck on the golf course playing with their male work colleagues.
courses golf grew northern playing style win
I always wanted to win on a traditional style golf course. It's like the courses I grew up playing in Northern California.
consistent definitely far golf gotten hit learning muscles swing
I have definitely gotten longer. I have new muscles and my golf swing has changed, so once in a while I can hit one pretty far out there. But it's learning how to use those muscles on a consistent basis.
anybody aspects bar brought further golf hit huge longer main physical raised stronger
I don't know about overshadowing. She just has raised the bar for women's golf and she's made it a better sport right now. She's brought the more physical aspects into the game, being longer and stronger. The main thing is she is just stronger and can hit it further than anybody out here right now and that is a huge advantage. She has just raised it for so many players.
birdie coming giving golf good kept knew looks patient stayed
I feel great. I knew I had to play good golf coming down the stretch. I knew if I just stayed patient and kept giving myself birdie looks everything would be OK.
fearless golf good hits remarkable steps
That's pretty remarkable what she does. I got to play with her (Tuesday), and she's such a good kid. She's fearless on the golf course; she just steps up and hits it and hits it again.
golf left stay
I told myself (at that time) there was a lot of golf left and to stay patient,
america everybody global golf national obviously played rooting sports
We are a global sport. I mean, golf is obviously played all around the world. But when you have your National Championship, of course, everybody in America is rooting for an American.
ball chances front golf good hit missed patient stay tee today tried worst
Actually, today was probably the worst I hit the ball off the tee for sure. I missed a lot of fairways on the front nine, but I tried to give myself chances and I tried to stay patient out there. I feel good with a seven-shot lead, that is nice, but there is a lot of golf to be played.
anywhere ball course demanding either golf good great hit huge natalie shots test
There is a huge difference, especially in the rough. The ball either sits up or sits down and have to hit a 58-degree wedge out. It is just one of those things. Like Natalie said, it is a great golf course and a very good test of golf. You are going to have to hit demanding shots out there. You can't just hit it anywhere and you have to be on your A game.
behind everybody expect golf good hard perfection pressure team wish
I put the most pressure on myself. I'm very hard on myself. I expect perfection when I'm out there, ... I'm going to go out and play good golf and be, hopefully, a team player, and just wish on the USA, I'll be behind everybody 100 percent.
