Paul John Tagliabueis the former Commissioner of the National Football League. He took the position in 1989 and was succeeded by Roger Goodell, who was elected to the position on August 8, 2006. The reports this week about the long-term landing spot being Los Angeles were nonsensical, ... L.A.'s been the landing spot for the Indianapolis Colts, the Arizona Cardinals, the Seattle Seahawks, the Minnesota Vikings and any number of other teams, and the last time I looked they were all operating in their communities and L.A. is off the radar screen.
The current system is much more competitive in the front office. It's always been easy to get talent and keep talent through the draft. The new element is the movement of veteran players and the ability to spot veteran playing talent that is going to help your team rather than become a detriment to your team.
