certainly concept cut except girls piece screaming star tastes trying
I know what that tastes like, to be a rock-and-roll star - to have a limousine, to have girls screaming when they see you, girls trying to cut my hair, get a piece of me. But I don't walk around with a concept of myself as a rock-and-roll star, and certainly not as a musician, because I really can't play anything, except primitively.
bang break forth glass head steps trying
It would go back and forth between the two of us and then it would go over here and bang its head on the steps trying to break the glass off.
thinking people trying
I really feel concerned about young people within our present culture. Our present culture, we have to change. Change is inevitable and I wasn't raised in our present culture but it has great pressure that as a young person I never had. Material pressure, social pressure, visual pressure, how you look, and I just try to appeal to young people to think for themselves, to be their own person, and to ask questions and also be very attentive to our planet and our environment.
father talking trying
My father was always talking about God, and I idolized my father, so I'd spend hours trying to have mental telepathy with God.
baby pride always-trying
I was always trying to pick guys up. I'd ask guys out and stuff like that. I had no pride. I was the biggest lurch at dances, waiting for the ladies' choice. I'd lunge at my prey like a baby wolf.
writing rocks trying
I'd try to write my poems in a certain rhythm. I had my rock 'n' roll stuff for performing and my denser stuff for writing.
views common-sense trying
What I say should always be prefaced with this: I'm not really politically articulate. I just try to be like Thomas Paine: what is common sense? So when I say these things to you, I am speaking from a humanist point of view. I just look around and see what's wrong.
people trying not-interested
I personally am not interested in people trying to pigeonhole me.
opera pathetic sort
The only thing I daydreamed about was being an opera singer. But I was so skinny and so pathetic that that sort of wasn't going to happen.
When I was young, all I wanted was to write books and be an artist.
good life
What I wanted in life always was to write something as good as 'Pinocchio.' I wanted to write. I wanted to evolve. I wanted to grow.
changes customers experience shop
We want customers to experience it because we know that once you try it, it changes the way you shop on the site.
concerns pop
I have bigger concerns than what pop stars are doing. I'm more concerned about our environment, what industrialists are doing to it.
jim love loved poetry work
I didn't love Jim Morrison 'cause he was self-destructive. I loved him because of his work. Because of the way he merged poetry and rock-and-roll. Because he did something new.
