Emily's new. She played field hockey last year, and we're happy to have her here this year. I'm pleased with the girls' finish. Second is pretty good out of 27 teams. And I was happy with the boys, too. We lost our top four guys from last year.

But I knew after the tough 9-6 loss we had Friday night against Blake, we needed a jump-start to get going, and Ricky placed the bunt perfectly to the right of the mound to leg it out for a hit.

He's just lights out. His ERA is under one and when he gets it going things work out real well for us. He seems to come through for us every time.

He doesn't really like to run this distance. He is an 800 or 1600 guy on the track team, but he does this, too, and that pass was big because he knows that every place matters.
