biggest close course deep difficult favors greens guy hit hitters longer pins putt rough wherever whoever win
The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

I've played pretty good for the last two years. I'm just trying to win tournaments, plodding along, and here I am.

I've been out there so many times, ... Right now, I don't think I'm in contention unless I would go out and win the next three or four events. I think the money title is more important than Player of the Year for me.

Sometimes it's harder to play with a big lead. I've found that out myself. Instead of trying to win the golf tournament, you don't want to lose it. If guys are catching up ... you kind of start to get nervous.

I don't think I've had back-to-back doubles in a long, long time. But it's very easy to do it out there. I was happy that I hung in there. I did not give up. You cannot win the tournament today; I wanted to make sure I didn't lose the tournament today.

On paper, it's very good. People would die to have a year like this, but I was disappointed because of the season I had last year. Also disappointing because I didn't win a major.

It played a lot tougher, the wind was blowing from different directions. It was more like a U.S. Open course, where it gets dry on the weekend and today the greens got really firm. It's still the best course we play on tour.

It's just tough out there. The winds are swirling around and it was difficult to pick clubs. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the way I finished. It could have been a lot worse.
