biggest close course deep difficult favors greens guy hit hitters longer pins putt rough wherever whoever win
The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

It played a lot tougher, the wind was blowing from different directions. It was more like a U.S. Open course, where it gets dry on the weekend and today the greens got really firm. It's still the best course we play on tour.

I told Tom Meeks, 'If you lose the golf course, you'd better hide -- but there's going to be no place to hide, because we're going to find you. I just hope they make it fair for everybody. This is one of the better rounds I've played here. The course was pretty tough from the get-go. I played really good golf. I didn't struggle. It wasn't difficult for me to shoot 67. I left a lot of shots out there.

I think the conditions today favored us, not the changes they made. The course was tough from the get-go, but the conditions are perfect. When it's like this, the ball goes further, and it makes the holes play shorter.

Given time, I think it grows on you. Today I felt better on the golf course than yesterday. The other golf course is a much harder driving course. This is an easier driving course-wider fairways.

Today it got really firm. I think they were expecting rain, but it never happened. It was a good test. Still one of the best golf courses we played on Tour and hopefully we'll come back here.
