We really only had three weeks after Katrina hit to get it all together. It was a hustle, and a few of those days were tough, but we pulled it off, and next year, it will be even bigger.

It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.
