cost girls good hustle job open pass passes players position post rebounds score talented tribute work
We have some talented post players for being undersized. They do a good job of getting into position for rebounds as well as getting open for a pass on offense, but we have to work on better passes into those girls because that cost us some of our turnovers tonight. I can't say enough about Jenna Johnston and Jillian Rhoads. For Jenna to score the way she does is a tribute to her work ethic, and for Jillian and her hustle out on the floor.
bunch easy expect good hard hard-work players
I expect to play well. I know it's going to take a lot of hard work. There's a bunch of good players out there and it's not going to be easy to win.
adjustment basically credit experience player returning team year
Basically he was our only returning player with a lot of varsity experience and it was an adjustment for him early. As the year went on, he got better as the team got better and a lot of that was a credit to his play.
ball hunt name next ourselves playoffs week win
I feel that next week is a real big week for us. We have Willis and then New Caney. If we want to make a name for ourselves to be in the hunt for the playoffs we have to win those two ball games.
ball defense game goes kids night offense orange played shot today worried
Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.
both fairly played since split
We've played fairly well since then. We split on the road, but we played well in both games, and I thought we played pretty well in both these games, not perfect, but pretty well.
played players quality team
We have quality players and we played the team around them.
analogy best defense looks playing prevent regular sudden trying
They didn't give up. The best analogy I can think of is a prevent defense you're back there, you're trying not to foul, then all of a sudden they're getting better looks than they got when you were playing regular defense.
lose playing rod
(Coach Rod Fisher) told us that we were playing not to lose and that we were not playing to win. We had to keep doing what we were doing in the first half.
best club experience normally players treat
Just being around the best players in the world is an experience that most club professionals don't normally have. It's a treat for all of us.
both energy forth maybe might nice playing shows
For me, playing shows is so much fun, so it was nice to go back and forth and have both of them, ... Maybe I just get energy because I'm 20. It might all go down soon.
felt love played playoff threw
Overall, I played pretty well but I felt I threw away some shots. I'd love to be in a playoff now. It's disappointing. I'm a little frustrated.
against baseball basketball charleston compared compete contests creating few good holiday issue league matter perspective played simply size soccer sports teams view
Our view on it is simply with what we know of Mattoon. We compete against them in a few sports already. Our boys' soccer teams play. Our baseball teams play. Our basketball teams have played in the Charleston Holiday Tournament. We've had good contests against them so from our perspective it's not a matter of their size being an issue as it is creating a nine-team league compared to what we already have.
creatures game habit penalties players power revert
Players are creatures of habit and will revert back to some of the instinctive things they do, so you have to be prepared, I think, to be killing off 10-12 penalties a game and getting 10 or 12 power plays. You do the math.
