I've not been very kind to our kids with the scheduling. We've been tired in a lot of matches. But we've been wrestling Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and that's the same days of the state tournament.
africa aid believe camera famine kids last nose past people red since time
I've been to Africa many times in the past 20 years, but I can't believe this is the first time since the very first Red Nose Day, that I've been back to Ethiopia. The last time I was here was just after the famine and it was crazy, there were people all over the place, kids without families, aid workers, camera crews.

I wanted to be on the winning side (on the record), but to it was truly unbelievable to have the season we had. The kids just stepped up and played well.

Some kid is going to take him out really fast one of these times, and he'll be all right. He'll stick with him and run a 44.5 or something.

The lead girl, Jaime Hite, who plays the oldest daughter, Anne, has a huge amount of lines. The older kids have a lot of lines, too, more than the younger ones.
best built energy hard kids saw shaped took work
The kids wanted to work hard and to be a competitive program. I took their energy and built on it. I took the energy and shaped it best way I saw fit.
aggressive couple handle kid overly plenty push tried
The kid has no fear, plenty of heart. Those first couple of weeks, I tried to push him. I was overly aggressive to see how he would handle it. But he just doesn't feel pressure.
kids learn lose performance thrilled tough
I'm thrilled with the performance, but disappointed to lose on a technicality. It's a tough way to learn a lesson, but it doesn't take anything away from the way the kids ran.
game goes saw sunday talked telling tv
We talked about it a little bit, just jawing back and forth. He was telling me that he saw the game (against Jacksonville) Sunday on TV and he wasn't going to have any of that. It goes back to those old days.
became bust catch happened hit runs seemed
We just happened to catch up with her. It seemed like once we got a hit it became contagious. All those runs were with two outs so we happened to bust out at the right time.
