advance ask bob cia hopefully leak left obviously
Bob Novak obviously left the set a little early. I had told him in advance that we were going to ask him about the CIA leak case. He was not here for me to be able to ask him about that. Hopefully we'll be able to ask him about that in the future.
asked baseball classic coming march plus support work
From our perspective, we want to support the baseball classic but it's actually a plus for us he's coming here on March 1 and not going there, but we haven't asked him not to play. I think it's going to work out very well.
asked christmas course questions
Of course I thought about leaving. I asked myself a lot of questions at Christmas time.
ask boston fit owner plenty principal red
I feel responsible. What could I have done? There's plenty I could have done. I have to ask myself, maybe, if I'm not fit to be principal owner of the Boston Red Sox.
ask problems worrying
I've got enough problems of my own without worrying about his problems. You should ask him that.
almost asking bowl brady offensive super tom
They're asking me what it's like being here at the big game. It's almost like the Super Bowl - and that's Tom Brady over there. I'm just an offensive lineman.
ask assure autonomy baseball changed forward general larry manager move power role simply struggle
There never was a power struggle between Larry and Theo. It was simply mythology. I can assure you as we move forward that Larry?s role has not changed at all, and no general manager in baseball could ask for more autonomy than Theo has.
ask assure attempts autonomy baseball changed conference despite forward general issue larry loss manager move portray power press return role simply struggle win
Despite the attempts of some to portray Theo's return as a win for someone and a loss for someone else, this is a win-win situation. As Theo said in his press conference on Nov. 2, and as we have all repeated, there never was a power struggle between Larry and Theo. It was simply mythology. I can assure you as we move forward that Larry's role has not changed at all, and no general manager in baseball could ask for more autonomy than Theo has. This has never been an issue for us - only in the media.
ask hoping
I'm hoping that we will be able to ask him about that in the future.
again asked moon none park sat wondered
Again I repaired to the park and sat in the moon shade. I thought and thought, and wondered why none could tell me what I asked for.
game goes saw sunday talked telling tv
We talked about it a little bit, just jawing back and forth. He was telling me that he saw the game (against Jacksonville) Sunday on TV and he wasn't going to have any of that. It goes back to those old days.
became bust catch happened hit runs seemed
We just happened to catch up with her. It seemed like once we got a hit it became contagious. All those runs were with two outs so we happened to bust out at the right time.
add ashley miss team
We miss Ashley really badly... we know what he can add to the team when he comes back.
among best both course earned field forget forward greatest including memorable ounce red reputation ring series wish
We wish Pedro nothing but the best going forward both on the field and off the field, ... He pitched with every ounce of his being for the Red Sox over the course of 216 games. Some of those performances were among the most memorable in Red Sox history. Who will ever forget the 1999 All-Star game? He has earned everything that he has accomplished, including his World Series ring and his reputation as one of the greatest who ever lived.
