Nykesha Simone Salesis a former professional basketball player in the WNBA, she most recently played in the Bosnian league for the ZKK Mladi Krajisnik club. Her primary position is the small forward. Her second position is shooting guard. In 1999 Sales was added to the roster of the USA FIBA Senior National Team. Her brother Brooks Sales played forward for Villanova from 1998–2002, and currently plays overseas in Spain for the Club Baloncesto Breogán of Lugo...

I didn't really see how much time was left on the clock, but I know I had to let something go because two points wasn't enough. With like two seconds left I had to heave it. ... Instead of coming out and building on the lead we had, we had to come out and start fighting back again, like we had been doing in most of this series, ... We're not used to doing that and it takes a lot to do that, especially when they're still trying to force it down your throat. This win helps lot. It gives us the momentum now. They had the momentum going in, and now we have it. But they're going to be tough playing in their building. The fans can do a lot to help a team, and their arena is just as full as ours, and it's actually a little bigger.
