Nykesha Simone Salesis a former professional basketball player in the WNBA, she most recently played in the Bosnian league for the ZKK Mladi Krajisnik club. Her primary position is the small forward. Her second position is shooting guard. In 1999 Sales was added to the roster of the USA FIBA Senior National Team. Her brother Brooks Sales played forward for Villanova from 1998–2002, and currently plays overseas in Spain for the Club Baloncesto Breogán of Lugo...

Instead of coming out and building on the lead we had, we had to come out and start fighting back again, like we had been doing in most of this series, ... We're not used to doing that and it takes a lot to do that, especially when they're still trying to force it down your throat. It was a bit of a surprise, but we handled it well and we were still in it. We got within one (57-56 with 2:57 left), but it was a game right until the end.

I decided to just cover it because she was still right there; she didn't go away and I know how her hands are. I didn't think it was a good idea to chunk it because she's got bionic wrists. I just held on to it and hoped to finish out the game.
