We had a number of plays yesterday and the week before in the running game where we're one play, one block away. One time it's maybe the tight end on the back side, one time it's the guard pulling, one time the back doesn't make the cut he's capable of making or he just misses the hole by a little bit.

Jake had his knee scoped this morning. It was a very short procedure. He has a slight torn cartilage edge, and it was scoped. It's probably in that three-to-four week range.

He's very sore today. It will be later in the week when we'll see how quickly the soreness leaves.

We have to do all the things you do, whether it be change up the cadence, whether it be chipping guys, whether it be doubling. They do a good job of moving inside-outside to keep you from getting a good double-team on them. They'll bring the linebacker with the end to that side. So at times you just absolutely have to single block them.

We certainly haven't heard anything from them and we don't expect to. From what I sw, and from everything that's been referred to me, everything was spoken in the past tense.

These situations are the biggest thing. We've missed opportunities where we felt like we could have converted third downs. That's something that we spent a lot of time working on during the bye.

As I keep saying we have to put this thing behind us. We lost Sunday. We've got to start getting ready Wednesday to go win a game on Sunday. Obviously, what we have to do is win a game, and then you win one, and you try to put your own streak together.
