We talked about it before to try to get to get more shots at net especially with their goalie. We heard that he might leave some rebounds coming out. And playing more straight lines, going more to the net, instead of peeling out in the corners.

I think he's just getting better and better as we're going down the stretch. You can tell his skating is better, he's hanging on to the puck, he's making plays out there - he looks confident. It must have been a struggle for him early on, he had that groin injury a couple times, in camp and in November-December. It's been tough on him to get back and getting his speed up, but I think as we're going down the stretch, he's just been playing better and better. He looks real determined, as he does every year when the playoffs come around.

I thought in overtime we did a lot better passing the puck around, and we were more poised. We have to be more sharp on the power play, and you can't pass up any shots, either.

I can't really say I felt fatigued coming home after the (2002) tournament. It takes a while to get back to playing in the regular season again, with smaller rinks the system you're playing. Otherwise I still felt good coming back and playing.

They were a lot quicker when they had the puck. They jumped on us early, and they had guys joining the rush. We were flat-footed and just watching them go by us.
