academy planning season seeing victory
Emotionally, this was a big victory for us. We're planning on seeing Academy at least two more times this season and probably three.
We need to keep doing what we've been doing.
general improved offense since skilled
Shannon already was a pretty skilled player. That comes from her father. But she's improved so much since she's been here. She's our general and makes our offense go.
effort great pushed time
It was a great effort by our team. Every time we made a run, (Freedom) got back up. Every time we got in there, they pushed us back. We wanted to come in a play well and I think we did that.

It was pretty much what we expected. We just tried to play as many of the girls as we could.

Not starting her is something that we have been doing all year. We have had a different girl lead us in scoring just about every game.
affected blame focused officials
It may have affected us a bit. But I don't blame the officials for us losing. We just weren't as focused as usual.
care given job leading might players
We have players who don't care who is leading us in stats. On any given night, someone different will lead in scoring. It might not always be pretty, but they get the job done.

We're awfully familiar with one another. It's tough enough beating a team three times. Four is asking for a lot.

We definitely know who they are and what they like to do. We don't really need any in-depth scouting report because we've seen just about everything from them.

They're both be out there, but they'll be a step slower.
allowed defense key reserves second throughout
Defense has been the key for us throughout the playoffs. We were able to able to keep (MCC) in check, and that allowed me to use some reserves in the second half.

Our inside really took care of business tonight. I think that was the definite advantage. When we get that inside outside game going, you have to pick your poison.
