We were moving the ball with a purpose today. Against Mt. Markham we were rushing things, just trying to force it in there. Today we were focused on getting where we wanted to go, not going where the defense wanted us to go.

We got some people some playing time that they don't usually see. There was no JV game so I brought a couple of those kids up for the game.

We really needed to score in the first half. The longer they kept us from scoring, the better it was for them.

We had already had two or three corners at that point. I just told Theresa that she needed to hold the ball a little longer (before shooting).

Today and Wednesday are big tests. Coming off these two games we'll know where we stand.

I was really pleased with the way we played. I was glad to see that our intensity was there for the whole game.

I told them to turn it up a couple notches. We were playing sloppy, lackadaisical. We had no intensity and we had to turn that around.

Usually corners are sure goals for us. We probably score on one out of three.

We had some good individual play but we did not play well as a team.
glad good schools tournament
They're all 'A' schools and they're good 'A' schools. It's a good tournament and I'm glad to be part of it.
