He's not very happy. Would you be? You're in a heated battle to win a starting job. You get told by your head coach in the morning that you're going to be a backup. I thought he played well Friday night, but this gives us the best chance to be successful. As a team player I am sure he is accepting it. I'm certainly sure he doesn't like it.

I can still blow that whistle with one knee or two knees, and I can still yell with one knee or two knees. So my knee has no significance or bearing on us playing Green Bay or beating Green Bay or practicing. So that's a non-issue.

If you look at the offense like a fancy car, the offensive line is the engine. Even though we might have nice spinners and nice rims and tinted windows and some neat paint job, it doesn't mean crap without the engine. If the engine's not working, the car might look like a pretty nice car, but it's a piece of crap.

I'm not going to keep him from being a great player. If I told him to stay in the pocket and not make plays with his legs, he wouldn't be the same player. I don't want some stiff in the pocket.
