I was happy with how our kids responded after not playing very well on Tuesday (at Klamath Union). Everyone got involved and we really stepped up our defense. That's going to be a critical component down the stretch.

Eric had a tremendous offensive season. Offensively, he's as good as anyone who's ever played here. We felt he could score, and we had some kids who were very unselfish and got him the ball in good scoring position.

Eric did a lot of good things, but you have to credit his teammates for finding him underneath the basket. I thought we played good team basketball from start to finish for the third straight game.

Sometimes three games in three days will catch up with you. (Corvallis) played really well in the second quarter and that was the biggest difference. They shot the ball really well and we didn't.

We're trying to keep everything in perspective. We're just going to try to be prepared for everything and try to outwork them. The thing about the playoffs, though, is that you never know what teams are going to do.

It was a gutsy effort by our kids, especially since it was our second game in two nights. (Madison) had some players who gave us problems, but we did a good job adjusting.

Our team defense was very solid tonight and we caused a lot of interference in the paint. We played especially well in the second half, picking up a lot of loose balls and dominating the glass.
