ball brad high miller nearly offense passing players
I think you have to modify or put your offense in a position, again, to make your players comfortable. But you look at all these teams, they do everything. It's just that ... if they don't have Brad Miller passing the ball at the high post, they're not nearly as good...
anybody beat game given good ground hear maybe middle playoff starting talk winning
I think there's probably a middle ground of expectations. We're going to hear a lot of playoff (talk) -- and that's a good thing. I would think we'd be competitive in every game we play. We have the thought we're good enough to beat anybody on a given night. Maybe that's a starting point. Let's talk about winning more (games) than losing.
ball happens
Ironic, isn't it?. But that's what happens at the end. Fundamentals, fundamental. You can't get breakdowns at the end. ...That was a ball we just had to rebound.
board guy knows personnel relying
Keith is a guy that I'm relying on more, having been with Keith for a year, to be the guy that's my sounding board during a game-type situation. Keith knows our personnel and John's just working his way in. I'll probably end up relying more on Keith.
ball best corner driving everybody figure nice position trying
He's been up and down like most young players, like everybody we have. He's made some nice corner jumpers for us ... He's driving the ball better lately. We're just trying to figure out what everybody can do and put them in the best position we can.
backing coming hard poise runs
He's fundamentally sound. He's a hard worker, not backing off at all. He runs the team. I think he's been a surprise, just his poise coming into camp.
college
He has only two years in college and he doesn't have any experience. So right now, he's just kind of in limbo.
confidence count help overall
It has to help the guys' confidence to know that we can do this. It doesn't count any more if you look at the overall record.
ball guard hard josh opens shoots
If Josh consistently shoots the ball well, he'll be very, very hard to guard because that opens up his drives.
kobe prevent shooting
In retrospect, the one thing Derek can't do is prevent Kobe from shooting over the top.
ask coming finish keeps kobe
I don't know how much more I can ask for from our guys. We battled tough. Kobe just keeps coming at you. We just need to finish it out.
bit challenged good halftime saw second
I challenged them a little bit at halftime to get more aggressive, which is what they did, ... When we get aggressive, good things happen. What you saw in the second half is how we need to play.
fun kid
He's got a lot of kid in him, ... He's fun to be around.
pitch
I'm not going to designate a No. 1. Here's what we have to do. Here's our job. Let's all pitch in.
