beat best country great ourselves playing position sure team
We're playing the No. 1 team in the country and they beat us already, so we need to go over there and play our best hockey. We know what we have to do. They're a great team and we need to get better to beat them. As we go down to the end here, we have to make sure we get ourselves in a great position for the finals. But right now we have to concentrate on Middlebury.
beating beginning centers coming guys helped moved playing puck second settled sloppy throwing
We did a lot better in the second on defense. In the beginning we did awful. We were throwing the puck away and they were beating us on the one-on-ones. The guys were playing really sloppy and then they settled down. I think the centers helped out by coming back. We moved the puck a little quicker.
confidence loosen practice step
I'd like to see us at practice step it up a little more. Our confidence should be better and when your confidence is high, you should loosen up and play better.
good
Right now, I feel good about our team.
kids month
Tonight, I thought we were back to where we were a month ago. I thought the kids were re-energized.
bad couple goals great hung note team
We had a great year. It's too bad we had to end it on that note because I thought we were the better team out there tonight. We just didn't finish. They had a couple of bad goals and hung in there, so it was just kind of disappointing.
beat discipline goal good great guys hard loose momentum opened played skated stay
We didn't play great the first period, but we didn't play too bad. I think they (Skidmore) played really well. They skated hard and their goalie played really well. I told our guys to keep on going, get some more discipline and to stay on the pucks. And we did. We beat them to a lot of loose pucks in the corner. We had some good jumps. Once we got the first goal it kind of opened things up. We got a lot of momentum off that.
great kids loose playing power tough
New England's playing very well. They're loose and they have most of their kids back. They have a great power play and their goalie is tops. It's going to be a tough game.
beat four history road schedule since six tough
We had a tough schedule down the road as we always do. History is we try to get four out of the six (games) and we went 3-2-1, which was a little disappointing since we beat Middlebury in the first game.
control except great penalty played
I thought we had control of the whole game. I thought we played very well except for a penalty here and there that they scored on. It was a great game.
dominated ended game good great lose season seniors three won
I thought our seniors did a really good job. We won 22 games. It's been a great season and I just think it ended a little too early. I thought we dominated all three periods. To lose a game like that is hard.
brian certainly great leader terrific
I think Brian had a great year, especially down the stretch. He was a terrific leader and a great contributor. He certainly will be missed.
ahead began close conference easy everybody far game playoffs program says since time weekend year
I think it's great. We've done it every year since the conference began and I think that says a lot about the program and the players. It's not easy and every year everybody is going for you. We take it one game at a time and don't get too far ahead of ourselves. Now we're getting close to the playoffs and we still have a big weekend ahead of us with Colby and Bowdoin.
expect fast team work
They just work their tails off and go, go, go. We can expect a fast team that's very aggressive.
