I've played a lot of games in my life and coached a lot. I never felt so helpless on the sidelines, to watch a team that I thought was playing pretty good defense just continue to give up offensive rebounds.

The story continues. We got off to a bad start, but we stayed in it, finally started playing defense and then we couldn't make a basket. We had three wide-open 3s with 12 minutes left to cut the lead to five and we couldn't make one.

We feel good we're in third place with such a young team. It's good for them to know that the defense they've played all year can allow you to be one of the top teams in America East, even if we don't have the scoring power Vermont has been used to having.

The only thing I'm disappointed with this year is ending the regular season on a four-game losing streak. But it's not like we're getting blown out. We've struggled with free throws and turnovers, and we'll get better. I just hope it happens this weekend.

That's one of the things that our team has, we got some smart guys. I thought we could have panicked like we have some games today, and we didn't. That lead kept going down but the free throws really helped.

It's as frustrating a loss as I think I've ever had, but I don't feel badly. We deserved to lose that game and BU is very deserving to win that game for what they did to us in the second half.
