We lose so much after this year with seven seniors graduating. Having two freshmen starting to become leaders for our team really bodes well for not only next year, but two or three years down the road.

That was one of the craziest things I've ever seen. I was scared for her life, but she popped right back and was ready to go. We were down by 15 and she had no reason to do that, but she never gives up. She does everything she can as hard as she can. She is willing to give her body to the team. That's what she does more than anything.

I can't imagine there's a team out there that had more fun together than we did. Every one of us looked forward to coming to practice and being together. It was an absolute great experience.

She's really improved a lot. She went from being a minute to two-minute player to a 10- to 12-minute player. It really comes from her desire to do the little things. She's not going to score 15 points a game, but she is going to do all the little things. That has increased her playing time dramatically.

She's in there banging away. We ask her to play a post defense and she doesn't mind at all. She doesn't get pushed around by anybody. She uses her quickness to her advantage to shoot in and out of passing lanes that other posts usually can't get into. She gives up a lot because of her size but because of her ability, quickness and strength, she's able to overcome those shortcomings.

She's a great scorer when she gets going and we're going to need that. As you saw (against Darby), we have to put points on the board. If she's not scoring it really puts us in a bind. Hopefully this game jump starts her.

She knows this is her last chance at playing basketball. She has taken that to heart. She knows that she has a limited number of minutes left in her career. She's going to fight for every one of them. That's going to be big for us on down the road.

They never quit. They're an unbelievable group as far as the attitude they display. We've been down this season and battled back and battled back. We weren't able to overcome (North), but I never doubted that they would battle in the second half.

Kelsey kept us in the game. Hansel was really forcing it a lot at the beginning of the year. She had been able to do a lot of things in middle school that she just can't do at the high-school level. She has had to figure out other ways to score. She had to get comfortable. Once she did that, she was able to have games like last night.

Hitting a shot like that is huge for anyone. I've got complete confidence in (Hansel) taking that shot.

These two were too good to be kept off the varsity. It's a big adjustment going from playing eighth-grade ball to varsity, but they're starting to calm down.
