We played a very good basketball team tonight. They made the game too hard for us. I thought we gave everything we had in the first, but the way they played, the way they shot the basketball I don't think we could have won. They did what they had to do, and they took care of the home game.

I probably should have stepped down a little earlier. I felt it. Our guys' minds were just gone. What you have to understand is that they care about me, and I care about them, and sometimes when you try to play to keep someone's job, you have a tendency not to do anything. Right now, they're just playing basketball. Three weeks ago, this game probably would be a 20-point (loss). The game at Purdue (a 70-59 Indiana victory) would have been a 10-15 point loss. Right now, we're playing with peace of mind.

First of all, we have to get back in transition, and we have to keep them off the offensive glass. They are probably the best in our league at those two things. It is going to be important for us to do a good job in those areas because they scored over 80 points against us. We cannot let them score 80 points this time.
