People throw that label around without even seeing the player play. It's unfortunate, because nothing good can come of it. I think everybody should be judged on an individual basis.

We have a good group of offensive players and talented guys, so it's just a matter of us getting on the right track. Hitting is contagious. Anyone will tell you that, so it's just a matter of everyone getting on the same page, and then we should be able to turn it up a notch at that point.

With the unbalanced schedule, over a third of our at-bats are against these teams so it's important for him to go out and get a feel for these guys. Obviously we don't expect anybody to hit .450, but the best thing you can do is keep running him out there and letting him have good at-bats.
