I'm looking forward to seeing him back over fences and he's in good form. He ran well over hurdles last week and that would have blown away a few cobwebs and he's been down to the sea this week as he normally does.

That's the first time he's jumped like that since the race before he went to Cheltenham for the first time. We've had no troubles with him whatsoever this year, and he proved that with his jumping today. Often the best horse in the race doesn't win the Gold Cup, but he certainly has the potential to do so.

I don't think the ground will interfere with my horse. He has won on all types of ground.

He's in great shape. He still walks a bit stiff when he first comes out of the box but it eases at once and we really have not had any problems with his back this season.

He's in good form and, touch wood, we've had no problems as all his muscular problems are now behind him.
