certain certainly eight good helped mentality mode playing puts rounds six start
Yeah, it puts you in a certain mode of play. After playing six rounds, eight rounds of match-play golf, certainly helped my mentality for this week. So, it's probably a good start for this week, preparation-wise.
best game good kept open scoring telling ugly win
It was pretty ugly out there. I kept telling myself: 'I'm the U.S. Open champion, I'm good enough to win this match.' It wasn't my best scoring day and I'll have to find my A game for Goosen.
consensus good great hours plane playing ten totally
The consensus here is that ten hours on a plane is too far. You get cooks, cleaners, a great house, everything is free, you're playing for a million. Yet it's still not good enough for them. I'm totally bewildered.
good stunning
It was a stunning 2005. Pretty crazy, but a good crazy.
good obviously position tough
Monty's obviously in a good position and he'll be tough to beat,
blocked bunker good great hard hip hit instead iron missed par played putt relieved seven sharp shot six three tried walk woke
My hip was a lot better when I woke up this morning. I'm relieved that I can walk around without any sharp pain. I putted great and holed some long putts, ... On 17, I tried to hit a hard seven iron instead a cruisy six iron and blocked it right. I played a good bunker shot but missed the par putt from three feet. That's life.
boost career good move obviously plays
Obviously this is a boost to our chances. This is obviously a good career move for Bauer and something that really plays to his strengths.
fire friend good great mine
Retief's a good friend of mine and a great player. But he didn't really fire at all today.
air ball barrel good left piece plate trying
He just left the ball over the plate. I was just trying to get the ball up in the air for a sac fly. But he left it over the plate and I got a good piece of the barrel on it.
control golf good great nine played
He played great on the first nine holes. That's good golf and you can't control that,
cannot golf good yardstick
He's the yardstick of how good we can get. He does things with his golf stick that we cannot do,
knew late
We knew what we had to do. We knew we had to get it done in the late innings.
approach change couple fickle finishing great hit line lucky match paul played quickly six stumble wins
Match play is such a fickle game, the format, because things can change very, very quickly with one hole, ... Paul played great. He hit a great approach on six and seven. Fortunately enough, I was able to stumble over the finishing line with a couple of wins on 16 and 17. I'm just very lucky to win this event.
agree ahead came five guns improved last players reason six
Most of the players would probably agree with me that the reason we've improved so much over the last five or six years is because of Tiger. We had to. He came out all guns blazing, and he was like streaks ahead of us. We had to do something.
