I'm very disappointed as I felt very good coming into the race.
I just came here for a rainy vacation, I guess, ... The U.S. never practices enough, but everything felt good, everything looked good. We just did it a little while ago. But we came out here and did not do as well as we thought.

It doesn't matter if you are the lion or the gazelle, when the sun comes up, you better be moving.
This doesn't just go for American athletes, it goes for every athlete competing,
It's always good to be a part of the Kansas Relays. For me, to be a part of this years' relays gives me a lot of pleasure. A lot of years we always try to work on getting back here but it never seems to work out because of schedule conflicts. I am very happy to be here this year.

You have a lot of emotion at the end of the race. It is not easy to control that when you win.
