against coming good gotten great job team tested
We've gotten tested on a lot of nights, and this was a great test for us. Coming in here on the road, against a team that's been pretty hot, we did a really good job from our goaltending on out.
against feels games good huge match playing risen scary special teams
It feels good but it's scary if we have to match up with them in the playoffs. These are always huge games for us. Playing against them, our special teams have risen to the occasion.
easy feels fun playing team
It's been a lot of fun, obviously, playing on this team and with this organization. Everything feels so easy right now, everything is rolling.
attention caught closer details dump neutral pay several stand teams zone
A lot of times we get caught by that because we play such a close-checking game. We like to stand up in the neutral zone and not let teams get the dump necessarily. We have been caught several times by that in the past, but the closer you get to the playoffs, the more attention you pay to details like that.
buried fastest goal great history pipe player stepped team walked
That's got to be the fastest goal scored by a new player on a new team in history. He stepped on the ice, walked right down the pipe and buried it. That was a great start.
career deal five four games night played plenty schedule team time work
This is the first time in my career in the NHL that I've played four games in five nights. It's just another part of the schedule that we have to deal with. The travel's terrible, but there are plenty of excuses. I think this team has done the same thing every night -- work hard.
days eight everybody extremely games hockey six
It would be better for everyone. The hockey would be better. Six games in eight days is extremely difficult. But everybody is in the same boat, so you can't use that as an excuse.
best great periods played sat
We went out and played a great first two periods, probably the best two periods of the whole series, and then we sat back on our heels, which is a no-no. It's very disappointing and shocking.
feeling game good playing puck single top win
Everyone's playing at the top of their game right now and we feel like we have the puck all the time. We feel like we are going to win every single night. It's a good feeling to have.
chances couple dominant fairly force minutes momentum opens period second seemed turn
You force them to take more chances and that opens up more ice. I thought for about 15 minutes in that second period we were fairly dominant and then a couple turnovers and that seemed to turn the momentum their way.
behind early game normally playing start time
We got behind early in every game we lost. Every time we were playing catch-up and when you do that you start pressing. You start doing things you don't normally do and that's when things go wrong.
dressing finish game greatest guys hot lack played room
We've got some of the greatest goal-scorers who have ever played this game in our dressing room and guys that are hot this year. We've got to finish chances. It's not for lack of chances. It's just finishing.
