We're going to use this, ... It's a lesson learned. It's on tape. It doesn't count for anything, but it's there. We didn't play well enough anywhere. I'm not discouraged.
I've not seen (many) teams that ever have one guy cover one guy anyway, so it really doesn't matter. As much as he moves around and we move around and he's left and right, it doesn't matter. It's not even relevant. So thus, I guess there really is no list. See? How about that? I solved it. I solved it, so you don't have to ask any more questions about it. ... There is no list because it's not relevant, just a figment of the imagination.
There's no flow when you drop passes, ... T.J. has dropped a ball every game. Chad dropped a ball.
We have to win football games. I don't think Carson has to do anything different. The rest of us have to keep playing and coaching better. He's so, so talented. As I keep saying from the day he walked in here, the guy, no matter what he touches, he can turn it to gold.
I can't give you the exact definition of what a fast start is. That's the thing, we get to define that, ... We get to write the script to what a fast start is. I can't tell you right now what that script says.
I don't care what happens tomorrow afternoon. We aren't going back to where we were. Those days are over.
It wasn't his best effort. He will play better. He was hobbling a little bit, but that's part of football. He's one of our guys who we expect to play better. He's one of our leaders and best players. So we're counting on Levi, just like we're counting on (right tackle) Willie (Anderson).
They can't wait to call each other after the game on their cell phones to see who did what.
Taylor made a lot of yards on missed tackles.
We're making plays, ... but we have to protect the football.
We're beginning to see the change. I'm excited to see it on Sunday, for it to be our home field advantage and to be back the way it ought to be when we play at Paul Brown Stadium, no matter who we play. ... It's an exciting week for the city.
We are not off to a good start. We just won one football game. We have a chance to write the script on what a good start is. We play Minnesota next week, and now that is our focus.
We didn't tackle, ... We didn't block. We didn't cover and we didn't punt. . . . I think the eye-opening thing and the lesson learned was that we were going against a very good football team. . . . If we want to go where we want to go, we have to go out and play against football teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and respond to those challenges.
They've added guys who have played at a very high level.
