brady brings cases certainly confidence defense doubt field football game gang guy hope kicking offense overlook position talks team tom
Everyone talks about the confidence Tom Brady has in what he does and I don't doubt that. But let's not overlook the confidence that he brings to every other guy on that football team on offense or defense or the kicking game - 'let's get the ball back; let's get field position because Tom can do it.' He is certainly not a one-man gang there, but to me, the one thing a quarterback can bring is hope and certainly he not only brings you hope, but in most cases if you give him an opportunity, he will get it done.
field instead points score talking
We're talking about another 12 points if you're able to score touchdowns instead of field goals.
emotional philip talking
This will not be too big for Philip Rivers. I'm talking about it from the emotional and intellectual standpoint.
against critical field giving goal kicked lead talked three week yards
The critical thing in my view, when you look at the whole thing is, we kicked the field goal to take the lead and they go 62 yards for a touchdown in three plays. We talked all week about giving up big plays. You can't do it against any team, particularly against Pittsburgh.
case complete football good player talk
I think you could make a case that he is as good of a player as there is in football today. And I say that without any reservation. You talk about a complete player that can do everything.
baptism blitz bring efficient hard paid played sacked six talk
He played about the way I would have thought; you talk about a baptism in this league. They bring the ranch; they blitz and they blitz and they blitz and it paid dividends. We were sacked six times today. It's pretty hard to be efficient when that happens.
aspect city ended extremely kansas played short
We were out-played. Kansas City I thought played extremely well in every aspect and we ended up on the short end of it.
confident drew eric felt good honest parker realize situation
We had the long fourth-down situation and Eric Parker and Drew make it down to the 7-yard-line, and I'll be honest with you, I realize there's no certainty, but I felt very confident with where we were. I just felt good that at the 7-yard-line we'd find a way to get it in the end zone.
catching change practice tip
We are catching everything in practice so we are going to change our tip drill. We need to change it up because what we are doing is not working.
fell short team win
We fell short of our goal, clearly, and that was to win the championship. But I wouldn't say that it is a team that underachieved.
We feel very, very comfortable with our position.
controlled huge invited last pulling today win
We controlled what we could today by pulling out a huge victory. We're still going to try to win the last two and see if we get invited when it's over. That's all we can do.
improve
We're very disappointed, but we are going to look at and see what we can do to improve for this week.
dolphins fans head spoke
I spoke with ('72 Dolphins Head Coach) Don Shula right after the game. He congratulated me on the victory. The fans got their money?s worth. I thought it was going to come down to the end and it did.
