behind breaks needed played strong
It's unfortunate, we could have put them behind us a little bit. We played a strong game. We just didn't get the breaks when we needed them.
chances few goal good played quite team tight
It was a tight game. We played a good team and unfortunately they got that goal on the power-play. At the end we had quite a few chances to get one, but we just couldn't do it.
good key played power
Our power play was good tonight. It's such a key thing the way the game's played now.
gave hard played
I think they gave us a lot of opportunities to get chances. I didn't think they played as hard as I expected.
bad beat intensity penalties side took
Really bad intensity from our side and then we took penalties and we know we can t beat them if we do that.
doubt initiate
We didn't initiate anything. There was no doubt they were outworking us.
finish seemed simple tonight tried trying work
We didn't have the bounces tonight and it's as simple as that. It seemed like everything they tried went in and then we're trying to work our way back and we just couldn't finish it.
chance developed good gotten great
Every chance he's gotten to play he's been great for us. He's really developed into a good goaltender.
coaches happens shake trying
That's what happens when things are not going the way you're hoping. The coaches are trying to shake things up to get us going.
bottom difference finish line year
It does make a difference to finish off with a win. It's been a disappointing year for us. I don't think it was just one thing that went wrong, but the bottom line is a lot of us didn't play up to our potential.
create finishing maybe move passes passing starting
We were maybe passing a little too much and not finishing the plays, but we're starting to move around and get the passes through and create stuff.
against came early few good gotten mirror preparing ready start time
We came out flat. We've gotten away with a few (awful starts) against lesser-skilled teams, but I think it's time for us to take a good look in the mirror now and start preparing to find a way to be ready early in games.
came flat period
I don't think we've had a period like that, probably ever. We got some bounces and they came out flat and it was a combination of all of that.
came caught flying focus individual teams trademark
I don't have the answers. It has to do with individual focus that we're not ready. It used to be our trademark that we always came out flying and caught a lot of teams by surprise, and we haven't had it this year.
