We had several opportunities to put it away, ... and obviously, I'm unhappy about how that turned out, but it was huge just to win the game. I thought it was a must for us. You can see the joy back in the boys' eyes now. I think it will help us out with a good week of practice (in preparation for next Friday's playoff opener against visiting Mishawaka).

Absolutely, ... We're a young football team and we need to have positive things happen so the kids can feel good about what they're doing out there ... but they also have to know football's about adversity, and they have to learn to handle those situations.

Sure. I'm still very encouraged. I still think we can have a great season. There's not a doubt in my mind we can bounce back from this. Two games doesn't mean anything.
