Mark A. Driscollis an American evangelical Christian pastor, author, and the former pastor of Mars Hill Church, a megachurch in Seattle, Washington. He resigned on October 14, 2014. Because we worship our way into sin, ultimately we need to worship our way out. When Christians commit sin, they do not cease worshiping. Rather, their worship is directed away from the Creator and toward created things. Repentance is the act of turning from sin and returning to God by trusting in Jesus Christ who is the perfect worshiper.
Being single is not easy. But neither is being married. They are just difficult in different ways as God uses everything in our life to make us more like Jesus, who happened to live a perfect life while single.
Just because people are young doesn't mean they haven't been through hard times.
Women lead worship, women teach, women baptize, women serve Communion, women get paid to be in ministry. We have hundreds of women from SPU who are leaders in our church.

To play the game in the state's best venue is exciting. Last time we were here, we packed it out, despite the lightning (which caused a 28-minute delay).

Ken truly has all the qualities of a great Aggie and a great Ram. Ken was an extremely active student during his time at CSU. Whether it was his highly successful sports career, various extracurricular activities, leadership in student government or his involvement in Silver Spruce, Ken took full advantage of his time here.
Our fans really stepped up for us; I thought they were great. I think we had about 3,500 fans there, and those who couldn't come still bought tickets and sent in money to help us. I feel really good about the whole experience.

So I decided to start a church, for three reasons. First, I hated going to church and wanted one I liked, so I thought I would just start my own. Second, God had spoken to me in one of those weird charismatic moments and told me to start a church. Third, I am scared of God and try to do what he says.
God picked a junior high girl [to be Jesus' mother]. Jesus was raised by a woman who today, we wouldn't even let her lead a bible study at a high school. But she could raise God.
A lot of people are using the Church, but not a lot of people are loving the Church.
