David threw real well for four-plus innings, but then he got a nose bleed and he was getting up in his pitches a little bit so we pulled him out.

We did well. I had a lot of kids pull out because we have a meet tomorrow. We took kids out, so I knew we would probably lose the meet. We're just getting ready for tomorrow, so we can run well.

The scores will always fluctuate depending on the judging panels and we had some balance issues tonight. But we fought through them and that was great to see. We've been training like we are competing and that's great. We focused tonight on one event at a time, one routine at a time.

According to some polls, we have the sixth-hardest schedule in the country. Our philosophy is to be the best, you have to compete against the best.

It's been a great last 10 days for our team. We've played 17 in the last 14 days. But I'm pretty happy with where we are now. I think this is the team I thought we had.
coaches event everybody forward gets good known looking people played reunion time together work
We're just looking forward to it. It's a big event for us each year. Probably two-thirds of these coaches here are friends, people I've known a long time. It's like a reunion for me every year. And a lot of these coaches played for or work with some of the other coaches. So it's just a good time where everybody gets back together again.
