This was a big game against Colorado in our own division, and this is a game we really wanted. We need to win as many games as we can but not feel they're must-wins.
When the playoff picture isn't there anymore, it's hard to get motivated. But I think we are doing fine and especially these last few games we have to go out there and have fun.
I had to be patient, because I didn't really have my legs out there for most of the game. I was lucky to get the puck where I could do something with it.
You could see out there guys were hungry. It's a big game. The pressure was there, especially when you go back home after a month. We've just got to feed off this game and go forward.
We got some rebounds out there. We've got to bear down on them and bury one.
The season was a roller-coaster. There was a lot of inconsistency. ...Overall it wasn't bad but we want to get to the playoffs. That's our goal so we fell short.
I was used to not having to check the defensive zone. I had to learn to adjust to it, otherwise I was going to be in the minors.
I think he's the best goalie in the NHL. He made a lot of terrific saves and he was the key to the win.
I'm honored and I'm happy ... it's cool.
I was skating for 10 days, so I felt good out there. The biggest thing is we won the game.
Obviously it was a good buy. Very good buy.
On a goal like that, they should take a look at it even more precisely. If they hadn't got that goal it would have been a whole different game.
I felt pretty good. We are trying to be smart and use shorter shifts. I think that was working out there.
We want to finish strong and get some wins. Some guys are battling for jobs and stuff, obviously. You want to end things on a good note for the fans. They've supported us the whole time, so we want to finish the best we can.
