I think we got a little frustrated and didn't relax and just hit. We just didn't get the key hits when we needed them.

The second game we hit extremely well. Pitching and hitting and with that combination you'll win some games.

These next two weeks are key if we want to get into the (MAC) tournament. We need to begin that focus this weekend.

That was a great swing by Crews. I thought we were going to get right back into the game after that. It seemed building from that, we just weren't energized.

We are beating ourselves. We're giving them too much, giving them too many opportunities. We need to make them earn their way on base.

We played extremely poor in Saturday's game. Defensively, offensively, the whole game was poorly played.

Obviously it's nice, but I've been fortunate to be in an environment that allows me to succeed. It's about building relationships and I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by some great people and great players.

Pettit was great. I thought Jill did a nice job. Our pitchers did a great job.
four good innings pitchers plan start three throw year
The plan for the year is to have (senior Jessica) Garvin start off with three or four good innings and have Pettit come in. We need our pitchers to come out and throw as well as they can.
ahead ball excited
Christa got ahead of her batters and had the ball moving. She pitched an outstanding ball game. I'm very excited for her performance.
finishing mac means successful together
Finishing under .500 isn't by any means a successful season. We want to get into the MAC Tournament. To do that, we'll have to get it together this weekend.
defense depends everybody figure issues trying
It's been a combination of issues for us. A lot of it depends on how we do in the circle, but we also have to play defense and hit. I really don't like (losing) because it's frustrating. But I do think everybody is trying to figure it out.
