behind ready regular season time year
We're ready to play. It's the time of year where you have to put everything behind you. The regular season is over. We got the championship, but that's all said and done.
almost last stepping time year
We are almost where we need to be. It was last year at this time (the UA) started stepping on people's throats. That's what we have to do next.
embraced last open start wait welcomed year
I can't wait to start playing. They welcomed me back with open arms. They embraced me and made me feel like it was last year again. They made me feel like I was part of the team.
mind
The only thing that was on my mind was D.C.
designed good hands job whoever
The play wasn't designed to go to me, it was just whoever got open. They tripled-teamed me and did a good job of getting their hands on it.
luck prepare
When you prepare hard, luck comes to you.
bigger distribute easier great player
Without Hassan, it made me take a bigger role. I always could have done that, but when you have another great player with you, it's easier to distribute the points.
everybody hit hitting people playing raises shots
Without Hassan here, we need people to come in and hit big shots. When he's hitting shots and playing with confidence, it raises everybody else's level.
ball easy incredible ivan lay percentage shooting simplified
We are shooting an incredible percentage inside. When we got the ball in there we got easy dunks. Ivan got lay up after lay-up. We simplified the game.
attacked bad good happened ready statement
We attacked the ball, and things happened good for us and bad for them. We made a statement that we're ready to go.
coming game looked minutes since three tired toughest tv waited
This was probably the toughest game since I've been back. I was tired with like three minutes left. I kind of looked at him (Calhoun) for a sub and he said we had a TV timeout coming up. So I waited. I waited it out, but I was tired.
cannot
We cannot give up a 10-point lead, but we got the win, and that's what's important.
great pick space
You get to pick who you want to score. Try to space it out for everybody. It's great to have that luxury.
basically beginning bought coach force grown improvement issue open seen tried within
To be honest, at the beginning of the year, in Maui, I tried to force the issue with scoring. Coach (Olson) basically said to play within the offense, get open shots. So I bought into that. I've grown a lot. I've seen a lot of improvement in my game.
