guys hard hopefully knocked maintain message picked played sure trying wednesday
Sure it worked. We played with more of a sense of urgency. I know the message he was trying to get across, and he did it well. He went at us hard on Wednesday and Thursday, but I think we understood. Guys picked up their game. He knocked some sense into us, and hopefully we can maintain it.
cameron knows nice pick smart
It's nice to have someone out there like Cameron to pick up. He showed he can make big catches. He knows what he's doing. He's a smart player.
best calling coach learned nfl picked steve sure taught
All I know in the NFL is coach Martz calling plays. I think Steve's been with him long enough to know his philosophies. He's taught him a lot about offense, so I'm sure Steve has picked that up and he'll try his best to call like he's learned from coach Martz.
best call calling coach learned nfl picked steve sure taught
All I know in the NFL is coach Martz calling plays, ... I think Steve's been with him long enough to know his philosophies. He's taught him a lot about offense, so I'm sure Steve has picked that up and he'll try his best to call like he's learned from coach Martz.
brings isaac kevin knows leader miss running team
There are a lot of things that Isaac brings to our team that we'll miss: route-running, blocking, just being that leader out there. So, we'll miss him if he can't go. But Kevin knows what he's doing. ... There are different things that Kevin does better than Isaac.
good playing seattle winning
We're not playing as good as we can right now, ... And if we keep this up, we'll be in the basement, and Seattle will be winning it.
against depth larger opener sets specific sure time year
This year we can get into our three- and four-receiver sets and really get in depth with them. We have 20 or 30 specific things for them, and I'm sure it will be even larger by the time we get to the opener against the (San Francisco) 49ers.
arizona bit last playoffs pressure san seattle situation week won
Even if we would've won (against San Francisco), there's pressure every week to win. We had to back into the playoffs a little bit last year, and we don't want to get in that situation again. Fortunately, Arizona and Seattle stumbled last week, just like us. If we win, we can get back to .500.
both bottom coming defense game guys last line marshall needed nice offense rely stop
When we need those plays, both on offense and defense, they're coming through. We needed Marshall to come through for us on the last drive, and he did. We needed the defense to stop those guys and they did. It's nice to know we can rely on each other this year. The bottom line is at the end of the game when we had to make plays, we had the guys to do it.
game moved points score
We moved it between the 20s pretty well. We probably didn't score as many points as we wanted. That's just how the game was going.
becomes couple goes losses season undefeated
We feel we should be 3-1, ... Even 4-0 if you play good. But that's just the way the league's been this year. There's only a couple of undefeated teams. ... We know we can come back. It's not the end of the world. But as the season goes on, each one of these losses becomes more critical.
fighting fights-and-fighting game good hope job running start three
We did a good job of fighting back, but when you are down by two or three touchdowns at the end, that is when you have to start winging it and hope for the best, ... Unfortunately, when you get down that much and our running game wasn't going real well, it's what you have to do.
assume playing short third three
I'd assume three quarters. In the third game, you usually get your most playing time, especially in a short week. You don't want to have to play much on Friday.
early happiness happy mean obviously respect season struggling
Obviously you're happy they're struggling and we know we can do some things. But we know better than that. They're not that kind of defense, the one that is 31st-ranked. It's still early in the season and stats really don't mean anything. We respect them enough that we are not going to take them for granted.
