Why we were so successful this year was the balance of the five starters and people who also contributed off the bench. I doubt it will be any one person coming in and trying to average 25 points a game again. It's going to have to be the success of a group of people -- that's what basketball is all about.

We were playing good defense, we're just struggling offensively putting the ball in the basket. This happened last year against Kansas on Senior Night, and we just knew we were going to catch fire, and Britt just got us going.

I don't want to be known as a good player who played on good teams. I want to be known as a good player who was part of great teams that played in the postseason.

I wish I could pinpoint that (the reason) because that's the one thing I highlighted to the team; we need to get off on a good start. I don't know if there needs to be a greater focus at the beginning of games; I don't know.

I have a desire to be a coach some day, and coach Fennelly knows that. During the games, I call the plays (on the court), so there was no need to change that.

This year, in the game's we've won, our attention to detail defensively has been the best. In both (Big 12) losses, we didn't do a very good job of that.

We had a great game plan. I think we were a bit more prepared this time and knew what was coming so it was not such a shock.

When I went to this point-guard camp the big thing they stressed was getting the ball to your teammates where it's easiest from them to score.

It's just a by-product of good teammates and the coaches put me in good situations. That's really what it is; I really don't think I did anything special.

It's a new season; it's a new month. We're 1-0 this month, and that's how we're going to approach it; every game is a new opportunity.
