This is a time for people to come together, let go of differences, recognize their similarities, and share who they are and where they come from. It has been shared by tribal elders that in order for healing to begin, we must let go of resentments or harsh feelings.

We need to focus on business opportunities that would lead us to self-sufficiency, specifically in the areas of energy, food, and water resources. We cannot seek to be dependent on others. We need to look for ways we can provide for our people.

I am extremely proud of these dancers. We are a new program competing against teams who have been dancing for years. Our dancers showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

We are so tired. It hasn't been because we're trying to be secretive or anything like that. We're tired. This has been a very, very overwhelming and tiring experience. My son is 13. He just wants to get back to a normal life.
