add changed disciple fell good grew map skiing speed surprised
It's sweet. I've changed my equipment. I'm not surprised because I grew up skiing slalom. I just fell off the map for a while because of the speed races. It's always good to add another disciple you can do well at.
backs besides entire good rests results strong supports team
It's always good to have a strong team that supports you and backs you up and is getting those results besides you so you don't feel like the entire team rests on you. I think it's a very good thing that our whole team is doing well.
anybody cares good job last maybe people salt seem time
You know, it doesn't really seem like anybody cares this is the Olympics. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of people here. Last time in Salt Lake, they did such a good job organizing. You could feel the excitement. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel it here.
good job last maybe salt time
Last time in Salt Lake, they did such a good job organizing, and everyone was excited. You could just feel in the air, it was excitement. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel like it's exciting.
conditions difficult feeling good tough
The conditions here were tough and it was really difficult to do well. But I have had a good feeling in downhill.
life next racing work
Not racing is not an option. I didn't work my whole life to say, 'Maybe next time.
far learned push
I've just learned you can push yourself as far as you want to push.
aggressive chances confidence fast happy showing skiing taking trust
Slalom skiing is going really well so it made up for my downhill. I have a lot of confidence in my slalom. I trust my skis, trust myself and it's showing in my races. I skied aggressive in the slalom, taking chances and I was really fast so I'm happy about today.
affecting apart couple giving low maybe mentioned normally pain people sections technical
There's really no technical sections where you can set yourself apart from the other athletes. I was giving it everything I had. A couple people mentioned maybe I wasn't getting as low as I normally do in my tuck. Maybe subconsciously the pain is affecting me.
physically suck
As long as I can physically do it, I can suck it up for a minute, 55 seconds.
medal
I wanted to get a medal (in downhill), but I still have my chances. Don't give up on me yet.
hope
My back, I?m in a lot of pain. I hope so.
body far learned push thinking today
I was going to go through everything I could today to start. I wasn't thinking of not racing. I learned that your body can go through a lot, and you can push yourself as far as you want to push it.
cried knew night positive soon spent until
She was incredible, she spent the whole night with me until 10 o'clock. She cried with me. She said she knew I can do it, that I have to be positive and get back out there as soon as I can. She knew as soon as I got back out there, I'd have a medal. Just not today, I guess.
