along goal happened happiness happy matters nice record stuff win winning
We're happy to win, and it's nice to set new record and win things, but we only have had one goal all year. Winning a championship is the only thing that matters to all of us. All the other stuff is just things that have happened along the way to get us there.
defensive establish games guys habit means possession season stopping struggle winds
As the season winds down, we have to establish that as our identity, because, going into the playoffs, that's the way games are going to be played. It's a defensive struggle every game, and every possession means a lot. We have to get back into the habit of stopping guys every night.
matter people title
At this point, we don't even care. We know what we've got to do, and we know what we need to do -- and that's get the title back. That's our focus, our goal. All the other stuff, hey, people can say what they want to say or not. They'll put us on the prime-time or whatever. It doesn't matter to us. We just want the title back.
fun playing pulled wish
I wish they could have pulled that one out. It'd be fun to be playing at the same time.
aware best caught game mentioned results shoot site web
I have (been aware of them) because it's on our Web site and it's been mentioned to me before. I try not to get too caught up in statistics. That's not what I shoot for, I just go out there every game and do what I do best and that is how I get the results in the end.
defensive establish game means playoffs possession season struggle type winds
That's the type of game the playoffs are. It's a defensive struggle, and every game and every possession means a lot. As the season winds down, we're going to have to establish that as our identity.
limited motion range
My range of motion is still limited a little bit, but I working through that.
good hitters job
K-State did a really good job of keying in on the hitters that were doing really well and they weren't going with Na at all.
coaching couple sat
If I was coaching I would've yanked his butt out of the game. After a couple of those long bombs, I would've sat him down.
bring dimension guy mike second
He's a guy that will give us that depth, like we had with Mike James. I think that he has the things we try to incorporate: scorer, defensively on-the-ball person that will bring a different dimension to our second unit.
identity mentality opposed regular season shut
Going into the playoffs, our mentality has to be opposed from the regular season -- that we're going to shut you down. We still know we can score. Our identity is defense.
challenged knowing teams
We're just two teams that have challenged each other, and we'll get up for each other, knowing the history. It'll be a little edgy, but it will still be just another game.
capable chance experience game learning line means played
We know what we can do, we know what we're capable of. We just come in and play. It means a lot to the young guys. It's a learning experience for them. You always want to know what it's like with the game on the line and you get a chance to play, and they did. They played well.
hang hats
We know we've got to tighten that up. That's been our stamp. That's what we hang our hats on and we can't ever get away from that.
