She's the glue that holds us together. She gives everyone confidence . . . She makes the right decisions. She is an extension of myself out on the floor because she knows exactly what I want and how I want things done out there.

She has a friend in every gym. Everybody just wants to be around her.

She led mostly by example. When we needed a big play, she came up with it. She's capable of scoring 30 points in a night, but she averages about 11 points because she does such a good job of getting all of her teammates involved.

It's kind of been that way all year. We played eight kids all year, and we expected all of them to do their jobs.

They brought that determination, and they were going to do it no matter what.

They did talk her into going out for track last year and they took state. I think she's going to run track again this year.

I thought our defensive effort was great. At halftime we had only given up four field goals, and those came from outside. We set the tone defensively that we were not going to let them get to the basket.
