We needed to hit a couple of deep shots to loosen them up a little bit. The shots weren't falling, but we were able to hang in there with them.

We feel we have a good group of guards also. Me and 'Tone come in for Carl and Ron, and they start off and do a good job. I think we held our own.

Everyone will try to help out on him. We're going to pay a lot of attention to him. Just paying close attention, making things tough for him and putting pressure on him, trying to make him handle it.

We're all trying to learn every day. We're still not where we need to be, but we're getting better.

We never feel we're out of a game. (Against Marquette), we had our chances. Unfortunately, the ball didn't bounce our way.

We haven't played good defense the past couple games. We've got to play better defensively. There have been some mental letdowns.

Carl makes everything easier for us. He's taught us so much and prepared us for everything. He's seen it all.

Basically, we rely on our depth. We all expect to play well when we're out there. (Friday) guys were making all their shots. Hopefully, we can build on this.

I felt like a freshman coming into the season, but I don't feel that way anymore. We practice hard every day and I've become comfortable enough to know my role and run the team when I have to or do whatever I can to help us win.

We just keep playing. We know how good we are and how good we can be. We have so many different players that can step in, we know somebody is going to step up.
