Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.

It's very difficult to throw over a (6-10) guy that close right on top of you like that. Most of the time the officials will tell you to move back a little bit, but that wasn't the case.

We had a very difficult time there toward the end of the game getting the right stops. I thought we played good enough defense for the most part, but you have to give Duke a lot of credit. When the game's on the line, they made some real tough shots that were very well defended and that's what great players will do.

Al has always had a burning desire to be a good player. He spends more time in the gym by himself than anyone we've had. For him, it was just a matter of adjusting to our style and feeling comfortable. He's now reacting and not thinking.

He's kind of a cross between Tim and Nate. He has pretty good savvy. He doesn't have quite the energy that Tim had, but I'm not real sure anybody does. But he's a guy who plays with passion. He only knows one way, and that's giving it all he has.

He didn't have the spring and had a tough time holding his position. I don't know exactly when it happened until the second half when he said he couldn't go. At that point I noticed him limping.

We totally recognize the fact that now it's time to move on and move toward preparing ourselves ... to play in the NIT. This is part of the development process of any team. You go through the highs and lows and disappointments along the way.
