To play in front of this crowd is something I will never forget. I never thought I would get the chance to play for my country again in Australia.
There's a lot going on. Next year is a really tough year for (Australia). We've got to win the gold medal. I love the WNBA. It just depends on what Basketball Australia's restrictions are.
As a team, we want to win just for her. For someone to make a team want to win for their coach is a pretty powerful thing.
I think we just relaxed a little bit. We know we've got a really physical game coming up, so it was important to get the cobwebs out.
Our long-term focus is Beijing. For us to now know what it feels like to win gold is huge. We can only get better from here.
Helping the Opals win the gold medal is a goal of mine. That will be great for women's basketball in this country.
I know I just can't keep going and going.
Once I made the decision to play, and it was my decision, I was going to do it. You go out there and give it your best shot. I've had better days (physically), but I'm OK.
I don't think there's another team in the WNBL that's as talented,
I feel light as a feather, ... I'm really happy that we won. I feel like everyone has written us off all year, and I just knew we could make the playoffs. God, it just feels so good. It feels like a huge burden off our shoulders.
I can see Sue and I leading this team to many more championships, ... We're going to take this and learn from it. We worked too hard for this.
I can't even begin to explain how important it is to all the people who have been involved in our program, and built it to where it is today. I can't believe we won. I can't believe we have the gold medal.

I always had that desire to become a great athlete.
