When I finally started to heal, that was the inspiration.
I know that when you take care of yourself and are happy and healthy, you are better for those around you and your environment.
I always have really fresh, hormone-free, additive-free chicken, healthy veggies, and brown rice in the fridge to grab because I'm always on the go.
I keep my center by really making sure I am nourished and taking care of my body. I cook all of my own food and always make sure I am eating healthy, nourishing, comforting foods. I feel derailed when I don't do this.
Eating healthy and taking care of my body and my mind really make me come alive, and seeing others doing that inspires me to stay with it. I always feel great when I do.
Yeah, the thing is, when people think '70s, they think disco, but we're not disco, we're like Kiss, Rolling Stones, Twisted Sister.
It's not that I really hate the clothes, I just don't like all the polyester. And the bell-bottoms - the big ones - are pretty bad.
Our poker table is eight guys, and then I'm the ninth; I'm usually the only girl at the table.
I am so like Donna it's funny. And most of my friends are guys too.
I can't stand being around anal people, especially anal people with big egos.
Some of the stuff that Wilmer wears is bad. And Debra Jo.
I don't like wearing '70s clothes at all.
What's great is that a lot of us are playing so against type in this, and it's awesome. All of the writers put faith in the fact that we know what we're doing. We have creative freedom, and it's awesome. I think it all worked out. Everybody on the show is so good.
It's cool because you get to see that some of these women are there because they should be. They're actually not good people to be in society. And then, other people are there because they just made a really retarded mistake.
