camp change league minor nobody routine stay whether
I stay on my same routine whether I'm in minor league camp or big league camp. Nobody is going to change who I am. Nobody is going to change my persona. I am what I am. That's what I'm going to be, whether I'm here or on the other side.
determine enters good knows label mind opportunity stamp until
It enters my mind a lot. I have a good opportunity to play at the big-league level. But you can't determine the future. Who knows what I'm going to be? You can't put a stamp or a label on what I'm going to be until I actually get there.
future gives guys leagues motivation
Those guys are the future. I just wanted to go out there and do good. If you can do it, it gives you that much more motivation to play in the big leagues and do well at the big-league level.
surprised
I surprised myself. But like I said, it's day by day.
name
Just having your name tossed around, it's amazing,
consistent excited three
I got three hits, but it's nothing to get excited about. I have to be consistent day in and day out.
league taste
It's not important for me to just get a taste at the big league level. I want to be there for a long time.
easy
It was pretty easy back then. I can't do it anymore, though.
door touch walk
It's right there. The door is right there. I can touch it. All I've got to do is walk in.
career front good guys invite league minor office step
It's a step forward. You can see your minor league career progressing. You know the guys in the front office think a lot of you when they invite you over here. It's a good thing all around to be around guys who know the game. It's a step.
excited fire game
I want to play the game right. That's what I try to do, day in and day out. It's nothing to get excited about. It's not like I'll be on fire for the whole season. I've got to do it consistently.
leagues quick ready stay
I want to get to the big leagues as quick as I can. But I want to stay there. I could be ready now or I couldn't be.
front great guys job patience rush wait
You've still got to have patience. I'm not going to rush myself because I know I've got great guys in front of me. I know they're going to do the job and I'm just going to wait my turn.
call crazy possibilities stay thinking trade until
I thought about it every day. It got crazy at the trade deadline, thinking of all the possibilities where I could have gone. But nothing's done until they call you and say, 'You're traded.' I feel like I'm here, and as of now, I'm going to stay until they make a decision.
