New York is just a world of its own. I knew that coming in, but you learn that a little more when you get put in the spotlight like that in a negative and undeserving way. It was a little frustrating at the time because people kind of believe what they read. For her it's been a little tough, because they kind of portray her in a negative light.

They found a hole every single time they put the bats on the ball. When I look back on it, it's definitely disappointing. I've made worse pitches and I've felt worse in games. There's nothing I can do now.

I think about it all the time when I'm out and about, ... but I've got a job to do. It doesn't cross my mind when I'm on the mound.

Pretty much just everything isn't sharp. The three pitches that I've learned this year just aren't where I need them to be, which is understandable. I'm just trying to get those pitches in as much as I can into a live situation. I've still got four or five more starts, so I'm not worried about it.

I'm hitting my spots like I should be, but they're taking too good of hacks on balls that I'm throwing up there, so there's obviously a problem with the selection I'm taking with each batter.

I was telling the guys over here that was the one thing they didn't do last year: execute with runners in scoring position. But I tip my cap to the guys for executing like that.

Of course I wanted to pitch well coming back to this city. Against a team like this I just wanted to give the team an opportunity to win the ball game. I am glad to come out with a victory.
