I was happier winning my first round than winning a tournament, just because it's a satisfaction because you've put so much work into it, ... You realize how quickly it could be gone. That's why you enjoy each match because it can happen again.

My injury's not gone. The pain is gone because of the tablets I'm taking. So that's a good sign that I can be out there and play without feeling the pain. But I know that once I get home there's going to be some work to do.

I felt like I got a really good workout and I had some good rallies even though I wasn't on the court very long but that's to my advantage.

I'm happy I was able to stick through it and was being very disciplined with what I had to do, because I know eventually hard work will pay off. It's only a matter of now just trying to make sure I get matches under my belt and I feel more and more comfortable playing matches.

I've realized a lot more how much I missed tennis, ... That's the whole completely different attitude that I have now. No matter what I do, I'm going for it because it could be over. If I get another wrist injury, if I have anything else, my career could be over very soon. That's why I want to go out there and just enjoy every shot that I can hit.
